Diversity Pioneers Prize

Jobkanaal awards the Diversity Pioneers Prize to three Flemish companies that have made a mark in the field of diversity management. Interested? Send in your application form before December 14 2009.

Jobkanaal is an initiative of Voka (Regional network of companies in Flanders), UNIZO and Verso (Association of Social Profit organisations) and supported by the Flemish Government and the city of Ghent.

Jobkanaal eases the way to contact screened candidates from the following categories: 50+ age group, immigrant workers and people with a handicap. Companies that participate are selected according to the criteria below:

• Creativity and an example to the community
• Clear vision, business case and targets
• Buy in from management
• Changes in company culture and individual behaviour
• Tenacity, continuity and coherent management (sustainability)

Three Pioneers will be selected: One large company (50+ employees), One small enterprise (-50 employees) and one social profit company.
