Working at Luna: company culture | our colleagues' views | job opportunities
Company culture
It is worth reiterating, we think. Luna is owned by the people who work here. We have a high regard for everyone’s personal opinion, make internal communication a high priority and love our busy and ever-changing weeks. Which is why we publish our very own weekly newsletter, which is for ourselves and about ourselves.
Fortnightly meetings are also essential for us, just to ensure that we stay on top of things. Everything and anything can be put on the table – we want to hear from our staff what they think and what they want, so that they can do their jobs to the best of their abilities. We even schedule a convivial monthly dinner for all our staff, so we can enjoy a bite to eat together and chew over a few tricky issues. In our experience, this is the perfect way to take stock of where we are and to brainstorm ways of moving forward on all fronts.
The ‘Lunatics’, our pet name for staff members, are fanatical about achieving a good balance between work and private life. We make sure there is space for family. Or we allow staff to engage in further studies or even indulge intensively in a hobby, when they want to. Everyone gives their very best to the firm, while keeping the balance between work and home life. Which is why we are all for teleworking. Why should staff spend hours caught up in traffic, when they could be working just as efficiently from home? Just so long as they get the job done, we are fine with working from home.
